S SAILING

Sailing and the Caribbean go together like peas and carrots. ย Initially, solely a form of transportation, sailing is now primarily for recreation and sport.

Some of my favorite Caribbean bloggers are people who have decided to see the Caribbean by sail. ย Their websites are filled with beautiful images of the islands, along with the nuts and bolts of this method of travel. ย ย Zero to Cruising is the site of Mike and Rebecca Sweeney, who left Kingston, Ontario, Canada on July 31, 2010. ย On their website they share how they keep themselves and their catamaran in shape as they travel through the islands. ย This couple is truly adventurous, climbing mountains, swimming, and hiking the islands they visit. ย  From their site, it looks like they are currently in the British Virgin Islands. ย World Tour Stories is the online diary of Taru and Alex, a European couple currently in Columbia. ย World Tour Stories is where a glossy fashion magazine meets a sailing vessel. ย The photography is stunning, and it doesn’t hurt that both Taru and Alex are easy on the eyes. ย It’s no wonder they are known as the “sexy sailors.” Explore these sites, and you’ll find yourself longing for the open seas.
